Welcome to Ogbuebulle Community Development Union (OCDU), Alala Oboro, Ikwuano Local Government Area, Abia State, Nigeria
Ogbuebulle is one of the five villages that descended from the great war-lord, Oboro. The others being Amaoba, Ndoro and Umuogwara-Nnono all in Ikwuano LGA, and Ndume in Ibeku in Umuahia LGA. The village still maintains close contact with Abam, its kit and kin in Ohafia LGA also of Abia state.
Their father, Oboro is a brother to Bendi (now Bende). Although, time has continued to diminish the frequency of contact between Oboro and his brother, Bendi, cultural exchanges between Oboro and Abam on the one hand and between the villages mentioned earlier has continued especially major cultural events such as the Ekpe festival which marks the beginning of the new farming season.
